Ephesians calls you God's 'workmanship' — the word carries the sense of a work of art, a masterpiece. You are not an accident or an afterthought. You were crafted with intention, and good works were prepared in advance for you to walk into.
Purpose can feel elusive when life is uncertain. Proverbs offers a steadying truth: we make our plans, but God's counsel prevails. That's not a threat — it's a comfort. Even our detours are held inside a plan that is wiser than ours.
And the work isn't finished. Philippians promises that the God who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. You don't have to have it all figured out today. You only have to take the next step, trusting the Author of your story.
God, thank you that you made me on purpose. When I feel lost or unsure, remind me that you are working all things for good and completing what you started in me. Lead me into the good works you've prepared. Amen.
