How do I delete my account?
To permanently delete your MyBibleChat account and all associated data, email contact@mybible.chat from the address on your account with the subject line "Account deletion request". We will confirm your identity and remove your profile, journals, messages, prayer requests, and uploaded photos within 30 days.
How do I report a bug or send feedback?
The fastest way is to use the in-app bug reporter:
  • Open the app and go to Settings → Report a bug.
  • Describe what happened and (optionally) attach a screenshot.
  • Tap submit — we receive it instantly.

How does Shepherd's Hour work, and what's the refund policy?
Shepherd's Hour is a paid subscription that lets you talk one-on-one with a real pastor or counselor. When you subscribe, you can start a session with an available Shepherd, send messages, and they will reply during their hours. If a session ends, our AI pastor continues the conversation so you're never left without support.

Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. All refunds are handled by Apple or Google — we cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com (iOS) or your Google Play order history (Android). If a Shepherd was unresponsive or something went wrong, email us first and we'll do our best to help.
How do I manage notifications?
Inside the app, open Settings → Notifications to toggle pastoral check-ins, community replies, Shepherd's Hour messages, and daily reminders. To turn off all notifications at the device level, use your phone's system settings:
  • iOS: Settings → Notifications → MyBibleChat.
  • Android: Settings → Apps → MyBibleChat → Notifications.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter the email address on your account. We'll send you a link to choose a new password — it usually arrives within a minute (check your spam folder). Still stuck? Email contact@mybible.chat and we'll help you in.
